I have been invited to Shenton Safaris camps in the wild South Luangwa Valley of Zambia and these pics make me want to pack my bag right now!  This is real wild Africa, much more earthy and spontaneous than a safari in South Africa with lots of animal thrills to be expected from the numerous hides set up to enable close-up animal watching. One of the wonderful features of Derek Shenton’s camps is the network of blinds he sets up each year to allow close-up views of hippos, elephants, and the other wildlife.
